LA. Lt. Gov. begins MAC State Parks initiative
If you heard our MAC “Motorcycle Watch” podcast of June 27, 2023, titled Motorcycle Tourism: A View from the Top https://rb.gy/xuqau , you may remember that Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser promised to put a MAC yard sign at the exit of every state park in Louisiana. Mr. Nungesser has proven to be a man of his word.
Three weeks after his promise was made, the first of 40 MAC yard signs was installed on July 18, 2023, in Fontainebleau State Park in St. Tammany Parish, just southeast of Mandeville.
It’s the hope of everyone at the Motorcycle Awareness Campaign that everyone taking advantage of our beautiful state park system will see our yard signs and heed their message to “Please Watch for Motorcycles.”
