WILL MOTORCYCLE FATALITIES DROP???
The latest data show that, while the total number of roadway crashes are down in Louisiana, motorcycle crashes are UP. Distracted driving (i.e. using a cell phone in your hand while driving) is the #1 cause of crashes involving a motorist violating the right of way of a motorcyclist. I sincerely hope that awful trend reverses itself now that this new law has been enacted.
