Motorcycle Safety AND Awareness Month
This probably should not bother me, but according to Gov. Jeff Landry, May is Motorcycle Safety AND Awareness Month. But virtually everyone in the media is calling it Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.

Do you see the subtle difference? The missing word changes the focus of the Month. But, like I said, this probably should not bother me.
But it does. Meanwhile…

This Saturday, May 25, MAC has our 3rd annual Motorcycle Awareness Ride! It will start at 9:00 AM at Mike Bruno’s Freedom Harley-Davidson on Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge, where all participants will get a Ride Card. IT’S 100% FREE TO ENTER! It’s also open to all cars and trucks, so how cool is that?!!!
Riders (and drivers) will make their way around southeast Louisiana, making stops (IN ANY ORDER) at GN Gonzales, Cajun Thunder Motorsports, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Specialties, Friendly Powersports, and Road Dawg Custom Motorsports.
Get your card punched at each location, then make sure you’re back at Freedom Harley-Davidson NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM!!! There’ll be live music, plenty to eat and drink, and a number of prizes that will be given away starting at 3:00 PM. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.
Don’t forget: one lucky participant will win $1,000 IN CASH!!!
SEE YOU SATURDAY, RAIN OR SHINE!
