THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I haven’t blogged for some time now.  I dunno…maybe that means everything is going well, and I have nothing to complain about.  And that certainly is the case today.

Because today I want to take a moment to thank Mark Bould of Friendly Power Sports on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.

Mark renewed his corporate partnership with the Motorcycle Awareness Campaign this week with a more-than-generous donation.

Here’s the thing: MAC relies heavily on donations to continue our mission of doing everything we can to prompt motorists to “Please Watch for Motorcycles.”  Believe me when I say that if we could do it all by ourselves, we probably would.  But we can’t.

So when guys like Mark Bould step up to the plate, swing for the fences, AND KNOCK IT OUTTA THE PARK…it means that MAC will live to fight another day.  To fight for your safety.  To fight for the privilege of riding the type of vehicle you want.

Listen: do me a favor.  Next time you’re driving by Friendly Honda/Yamaha on Airline near Sherwood Forest, stop in, find Mark Bould, and say thanks.  And pick up a MAC yard sign.  (I just dropped off, like, 50 of ‘em.)  ‘Cause guys like him are helping to make it safer for guys like us.

Be safe out there.
