WE’VE GOT IT SO-O-O-O GOOD!
You know what I mean: year-round riding here in Louisiana! Oh, sure…there are some days between November and February when it’s just too darn cold to even THINK about getting on a bike. But all-in-all, we’ve got it pretty good here.
Myself, I used to think nothing of riding when it was 40 degrees outside. Nowadays, however, I find that the older I get, the more it’s all about “comfort,” so 50 degrees is now my lower limit.
Therefore, while we’re all enjoying our winter riding, let’s take a few moments to think of our brothers and sisters up there in the “frozen nawth” who have to put their bikes away, sometimes for 5 or 6 months out of the year. Those poor, poor people!
