I want to take a minute to recognize a lady from New Orleans who is helping MAC spread the word to “Please Watch for Motorcycles.”  Her name is Jane, and I only know her through her e-mails to me at MAC.

Jane is one of the many people who have lost a loved one in a motorcycle crash, and she made it known that she wanted to “do something.”  The difference between Jane and other people who want to “do something” is, she’s actually DOING SOMETHING.

When I got her e-mail, I sent her a pack of our bright yellow MAC bumper stickers and told her she was free to distribute them as she saw fit.  Shortly thereafter, she e-mailed me and told me that she’s been handing them out to friends, family, bikers, and businesses.

So I sent her more!

Jane has detailed plans on when and where to make our MAC bumper stickers available, but as of this writing, thanks to Jane you can now get them in New Orleans at:

Bud’s Broiler at City Park & Canal Boulevard

Piccadilly on the I-10 Service Road at Clearview

Morning Call at 5101 Canal Blvd

WVUE, Fox 8 at 1025 S. Norman C. Francis Parkway

In addition, Jane is in the process of getting permission to drop them off at the tourist kiosks that are sponsored by the Lt. Governor’s Office for the State of Louisiana. They have several sites in the French Quarter and downtown.

Geaux, Jane!  Thank you for stepping up and knocking it outta the park!
