RIDE THE DRAGON? NO, THANKS!
I can’t tell you how many times people have said one (or more) of the following to me:
“Oh, man! I rode The Dragon! You have GOT to ride The Dragon!”
“Have you ever ridden The Dragon! I’ve ridden The Dragon seven times, man! Seven! You have GOT to ride The Dragon!”
“What do you mean you’ve never ridden The Dragon??? Man, you have GOT to ride The Dragon!”
“Aw, man, The Dragon is awesome, man! Man, you have GOT to ride The Dragon!”
Well fortunately, I don’t “got to ride The Dragon,” and I’d appreciate it if you’d get offa my back about it. There are idiots out there who treat this iconic stretch of US 129 as their own personal Le Mans, and frankly, I don’t want to be anywhere near them.
HOWEVER…
