Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has proclaimed May to be Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month.  And thanks in part to loosened COVID-19 restrictions, the Motorcycle Awareness Campaign will be hosting four MAC Yard Sign events as follows:

Saturday, May 8, at Warhawk Harley-Davidson, 6200 Frontage Rd, Monroe

Saturday, May 15, at Hammond Harley-Davidson, 1530 SW Railroad Ave, Hammond

Saturday, May 22, at Jandy Imports, 3199 Terrance Ave, Slidell

Saturday, May 29, a Baton Rouge location TBA

Yard signs, as always, are free of charge.

While the number of yearly motorcycle fatalities has dropped over the last five years, we must not become complacent.  MAC will continue its efforts to prompt motorists to actively watch for motorcycles.  But we can’t do it without your help.  Please make it a point to join us for a MAC Yard Sign event near you.

Be safe out there.
